A chat with Zoe from Premier Performance

A chat with Zoe from Premier Performance

We’re standing in Simmons Court on Day Two of the Dublin Horse Show, the 150th edition and you can feel the energy. People are coming in and out of the Premier Performance stand, questions flying, interest high. And at the heart of it is Zoe Grogan, sharp, grounded, and crystal clear on why she’s here: to talk about what they’re building and why it matters.

“I’m Zoe Grogan, Sales Manager of Premier Performance Ireland,” she says, right off the bat. Simple. Direct. She knows the company inside out, because she’s been there from the ground up.

Premier Performance Ireland launched in October last year. The whole operation from manufacturing to distribution and is based in Newbridge, Ireland. “We’ve been fully operational since then,” she explains. “Our products are manufactured and distributed in Newbridge to Ireland and Europe. And we’re a company that makes our own supplements out of all-natural products, everything is all man-made by our staff in Newbridge.”

That last part is important to Zoe. Made by people. In Ireland. From scratch.

When asked why that natural, locally-built approach matters so much, she doesn’t skip a beat: “People are now taking more accountability for what they're giving to their animals,” she says. “These products are complementing what these people are trying to do.”

She’s not just selling product. She’s answering a shift in mindset, riders and owners wanting cleaner, safer, smarter choices. Premier Performance leans into that, not away from it.

“These are all natural. They're fully safe to compete on, fully safe to race on, everything. From your amateur to your professional, these are 100%.”

She pauses, then adds with conviction: “Going the natural route, I think, is the way forward.”

That’s not just a brand statement. It’s something she’s seeing more and more: “You see so many Showjumpers now that have their natural, no shoes on their horses, wanting to go that natural direction — and I feel we're here to help guide them.”

At the RDS this week, some products are stealing the spotlight.

“Our most popular products would probably be our Gastro Premier,” she says. “It helps horses with gastro issues — both the front and the hindgut. It’s a mega common problem in this country — with racehorses, professional horses, even everyday ones.”

Their joint support formula, Performance Flex Plus, is also making waves. “All natural again,” she says. “It has Boswellia, MSM, glucosamine — the full package.”

But the dark horse? Their Fibre Hydration Mash. “It’s a mash that you can have while you're traveling. It's not a feed — it supports your electrolyte balance and has a gut balancer. You can give it like a Ribena or as a mash to encourage drinking or eating. It’s definitely a game-changer with horses.”

“It’s probably fair to say Premier Performance has taken off,” the interviewer suggests. Zoe doesn’t disagree.

“We felt that we needed to hit the road significantly. By publicising ourselves, chatting to the general public, not hiding behind anything — just showing them what these products can do. The proof is in the pudding. That’s the way I see it, that’s the way I believe it.”

It’s working. The footfall, the interest, the recognition — all growing.

So where can people find them?

“We're up in Simmons Court. We have some show offers on our products — 20% off our supplement range and our cam and cookies are two for €25. If you want to find us online, it’s www.premierperformance.ie.”

And just like that, she’s back into the flow of the show — ready to answer the next question from the next curious rider.
