Episode 6: A Lost Carlow Girl, Horse Shopping, and a Personality Test Gone Wrong!

Hey everyone,

We had such a blast recording Episode 6 of the Double D’s Live Podcast! This week, we’re catching up with Muireann after her wild week at the Ploughing, delving into the chaos of horse shopping, and—most importantly—figuring out what day of the week we are based on a hilarious personality test.

Here’s what we covered this week:

  • Muireann’s Adventures at the Ploughing: From the hilarious mullet competitions to a memorable poetry encounter in the car park, this year’s Ploughing event brought plenty of laughs as well as interesting chats with some amazing female led brands and business. You can catch up on some of the interviews on our Instagram.
  • Horse Shopping Fun: We shared our experiences on buying horses—what’s on our wishlist, how we make those big decisions, and why it’s sometimes best to trust your gut instead of the X-rays.
  • Personality Test Madness: We took a lighthearted personality test to figure out what day of the week we are. Spoiler alert: Sarah is apparently a Monday, Muireann is a Thursday, and there were plenty of laughs along the way as we read through the surprisingly accurate descriptions.
  • Rides & Wrongs: Sarah is getting very excited at the prospect of building stables, while Muireann confessed to getting the ick from the most random situations (rugby fans, beware!).
