A New Chapter for Confidence: The Journey Ahead with Equitas
There’s a shift happening. You can feel it if you listen closely. It’s the low hum of something powerful just on the horizon—not a roar, not yet—but it’s coming. It’s the kind of shift that makes you sit up a little straighter, lean in a little closer, and wonder, what’s next? That shift is confidence.
But not the kind of confidence you’re used to hearing about—not the polished, glossy, social-media-approved confidence that’s all sparkle and no grit. No, this is something deeper, something real. And it’s something that’s about to be felt by women all over the world.
We set out to create something meaningful when we created and launched Equitas. We didn’t want to follow a trend, latch onto buzzwords, copy others or just be a superficial brand.
We wanted to challenge ourselves—and the women we’re here to serve. I mean what’s the point of another weak media brand that lacks purpose, doesn't challenge the status quo or hold anyone accountable. We needed to be more than that. More than "that" was needed to Empower Real Change Together.
Since the start of Equitas I have been very vocal about the confidence issues of equestrians and in particular female equestrians. I have sat for hours and hours with women opening up about how they think, how they feel, what pressures them and where they want help or need support.
I wanted to do something but not another empty conversation about self-belief or another post saying "Just believe and you can achieve". For months I have wanted to launch a livestream show on mindset but never committed because it needed to be part of something bigger and bolder... once we had to pull the equestrian mental health summit, my mind very much shifted to AI Driven Media and Equitas never being in that position again... others controlling what we could and couldn't do... as we couldn't support ourselves... never again. My mind drifted, the ideas expanded and now the plan is very much coming together. The pieces of the jigsaw are starting to join but all the steps are not fully clear yet. The pathway will be there by end of year.
The world doesn’t need more motivational fluff. and equestrians don't have time for that shit... We needs tools. We needs truth. And, most of all, we need something that doesn’t just sound good in a headline but actually works in real life.
That’s where this journey begins. Not with slogans or soundbites but with a clear, unshakeable question:
What if you could build confidence like a muscle, moment by moment, choice by choice? What if it wasn’t about “being confident” but about becoming confident? This shift—from fixed to fluid, from destination to practice—is at the heart of what’s coming.
And no, this isn’t just another blog post or social media campaign telling you to “just believe in yourself.” We’re going deeper than that. Much deeper.
Driven by Purpose, Built for Women, Centred on Equestrians
Here’s something you’ll want to know upfront: This isn’t just a “project” for us. It’s part of the wider Equitas movement. It’s about stepping into spaces where confidence has too often been shaky, fragile, or hidden altogether. It’s about building something that’s strong enough to last and real enough to work for equestrians here at home and around the world.
We’re not offering “quick fixes” or simple slogans. We’re building something you can lean on when doubt creeps in. Confidence isn’t a feeling that suddenly arrives one day—it’s something you cultivate. And that’s exactly what we’re doing here.
Equitas has always been about community, shared experiences, and growth that’s both individual and collective. This new initiative will follow the same path. Together, we’re going to shift how women see themselves, not just in the saddle, but in life.
Equitas will always been deeply rooted in the world of equestrians, not just because it’s our community, but because equestrians embody everything this movement stands for. They know what it’s like to be thrown off balance (sometimes literally) and to get back up. They understand patience, persistence, and the quiet kind of bravery it takes to start again. The lessons learned in the saddle echo through every other part of life.
What’s Coming (And Why You Should Care)
We and I are being intentionally quiet about the specifics of "The Confidence Project" right now. Not because we’re “building suspense” but because this isn’t about hype—it’s about substance. We’re focused on creating something that stands the test of time can support you and the next generation, something that doesn’t feel shiny for a week and forgotten the next. Here’s what we can say:
- It’s for women, and it’s made for women. Not just for equestrians, but for women everywhere who know they’re capable of more. The equestrian angle makes it special, but the insights are universal.
- It’s designed to challenge you, not coddle you. Growth doesn’t come from comfort, and confidence doesn’t come from "likes" or validation. What’s coming will make you think, push you to act, and ask you to take responsibility for your growth. But it will also give you the support you need to do it.
- It’s built on purpose and backed by experience. There’s no fluff here. It’s about giving women the tools they need to create lasting change. It’s a model that works because it’s been tested, and it’s being built for you, not for clicks.
How to Know If This Is for You
This is for you if you’ve ever felt like confidence is something other people have. It’s for you if you’ve ever told yourself, “I’ll do it when I’m ready” or “I’m just not that kind of person.” It’s for you if you’ve been waiting for a "big moment" to feel ready to take action—because here’s the thing: Confidence doesn’t come after you’re ready. It comes when you start.
You don’t have to be fearless. You just have to be willing. Willing to look at the hard stuff, face it, and move through it anyway. Willing to shift from waiting to doing. Willing to become the woman you know you’re capable of being.
"You don’t have to be fearless. You just have to be willing."
How to Stay Involved
There’s more to come, and it’s coming soon. January will be just the beginning, but it’s an important one. If this has stirred something in you—that quiet whisper that says, “I need this,”—pay attention to it. That’s not hype. That’s your potential talking.
You can drop us a DM or send us a message if you'd like to be involved in "The Confidence Project" and I will get in touch - we'll have a better name for it soon but that's not the priority now ;-).
Stay close to Equitas. Watch for updates. What’s coming isn’t just for you—it’s for every woman who’s ever doubted herself.
This time, we’re doing more than talking about confidence.
We’re building it. Together.
Until Next Time,
Shane
